Knowledge Management Specialist

Location: South London (Bromley, Kent)

The successful applicant should have a strong background in knowledge management, networking, organisational and institutional development, and capacity building. The work involved advising and coaching of international development agencies, NGOs, resource centres, and networks, developing, facilitating and participating in various national and international communities of practice and networks in the sustainable energy field, and developing new initiatives and approaches to improving partnerships and activities in the sector.

Experience and Qualities Required:

  • Background in business, finance, economics, international affairs, engineering, or communication management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, a good perception, the ability to develop strategies, concepts, projects and programmes, to communicate ideas in an intelligible way, and to coach our clients in the implementation of projects.
  • The ability to work in a structured and systematic way.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary, energy oriented team.
  • Knowledge and proven skills in the development of social networks, and application of new and innovative collaborative software solutions.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; French, Spanish and/or Russian would be an asset.
